A funny conversation with Arielle
First funny conversation, when Arielle was just turning 2:
(Context: on the way to daycare)
Me: Arielle, do you see a tree?
Arielle: Yes, I *do* see a tree!
Arielle: Do you see a car?
Me: Yes, I *do* see a car!
Me: Do you see a mailbox?
Arielle: Yes, I *do* see a mailbox!
(By now, I think you can get the idea of this game: develop vocabulary and observation skills)
(Or so I thought)
Arielle: Do you see a fire truck?
(pause, as I slow down and look everywhere for the fire truck. My God, I thought, her observation is really keen if she spotted a truck somewhere! Maybe it was a toy truck? Where could it be?)
Me: No, I don't see it.
Arielle: Me neither
